The Magic Behind The Evil Eye

Sometimes it is too much of a coincidence.

There’s a difference between the evil eye, which is a curse, and the eye amulet, which dispels the curse.

The evil eye is a look given to inflict some form of bad luck on those that it is cast upon. It is a look that expresses one's intentions for something bad to happen to the object of one’s focus, either out of jealousy or pure malice. Sometimes, it is given without intend. Yup, it is that powerful.

In essence, it is a curse transmitted through a malicious glare, usually inspired by envy. For example, someone who achieves great success also attracts the envy of those around them. That envy then manifests itself as a curse that will undo their good fortune.

Amulets - also referred to as nazar - ward off the evil eye. All of our evil eye jewelry are amulets with this in mind.
